AI Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, on-device AI inference by optimizing machine learning models for mobile and resource-constrained platforms.
• Engineer performance-critical systems that balance power consumption, latency, and accuracy across ARM CPUs, mobile GPUs, and NPUs.
• Collaborate with AI and Systems engineers to translate cutting-edge model architectures into production-ready implementations.
• Build robust deployment pipelines using tools like TensorFlow Lite or custom runtimes to ensure scalable delivery of edge AI workloads.
• Design solutions that reduce cloud dependency and enhance user data privacy through edge-first intelligence.

Requirements

• BSc, Master, or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong foundations in machine learning engineering, including ML workflows and model evaluation.
• Experience with mobile AI deployment and deploying models on mobile platforms.
• Expertise in low-level performance tuning, including familiarity with ARM architecture and hardware acceleration (GPUs/NPUs).
• Proficiency in model optimization techniques such as pruning, quantization, or distillation.
• Experience with experimentation, benchmarking, and profiling tools for on-device performance monitoring.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
