AI System Readiness Vice President

Responsibilities

• Define and lead strategy to make enterprise systems and data AI-ready
• Establish technical standards for data accessibility, contextualization, and AI interoperability
• Conduct readiness assessments across infrastructure, data, and process domains
• Partner with IT leadership to prepare cloud environments for AI workloads
• Work with BI, Data, and Security teams to ensure data is unified, accessible, and well-governed
• Develop frameworks for metadata tagging, indexing, and contextualization
• Ensure infrastructure and APIs support high-performance AI workloads
• Own AI Interaction architecture including semantic tool routers and API wrappers
• Define and track KPIs for environment readiness and AI maturity
• Own AI cost modeling for compute, API volumes, and data pipelines

Requirements

• 6–10 years experience in enterprise IT, data architecture, or technology enablement
• Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience preparing systems/data for AI using embeddings, knowledge graphs, or contextual retrieval
• Hands-on experience with Python and SQL
• Familiarity with enterprise AI tools such as Claude, Glean, ChatGPT, CoPilot, or Zoom AI
• Experience delivering monitoring and measurement platforms
• Knowledge of metadata management, APIs, and interoperability standards
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or a related technical field
