AI Strategy Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end implementation of AI tools and workflows for PMs and analysts, from scoping use cases to production deployment.
• Build, test, and refine custom prompts, skill libraries, and automated workflows tailored to macro and fixed income investment processes.
• Develop and maintain custom data sources, including vectorized document stores, research embeddings, and email ingestion pipelines.
• Design and deliver training programs for PMs and analysts covering prompt engineering and advanced AI tool usage.
• Map and catalogue the data landscape to ensure key sources like broker research and central bank transcripts are AI-accessible.
• Act as the primary liaison between the DMFI platform and the central AI/Technology team to advocate for roadmap priorities.
• Ensure all AI-derived analytics and outputs maintain appropriate audit trails for compliance and governance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of post-university experience.
• PhD or Master's in a quantitative or technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering).
• Hands-on proficiency with Python and data manipulation libraries such as pandas and numpy.
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace) and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Familiarity with NLP concepts including embeddings, vector databases, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering.
• Experience building data pipelines using SQL, cloud storage, and APIs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in or prior exposure to financial markets, particularly macro and fixed income.
• Demonstrable passion for AI through personal projects, open-source contributions, or research.
