AI Strategist, SEO & GEO

Evertune is building the first AI discovery platform for modern marketers. As large language models (LLMs) become the go-to source for recommendations, we help brands understand how they show up in AI-powered answers. Founded by leaders from The Trade Desk and backed by a $15M Series A, we are pioneering the intersection of AI, SEO, and brand strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop Evertune’s client playbook for understanding AI visibility and turning insights into technical and strategic actions
• Own a focused book of strategic and technically sophisticated clients to drive adoption and account growth
• Act as the client-facing SEO/GEO specialist, leading technical conversations and supporting the broader Client Services team
• Partner closely with Product to translate customer needs into roadmap priorities
• Build internal frameworks and enablement materials to raise SEO/GEO fluency across the organization
• Support pre-sale conversations to strengthen technical credibility with prospects

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SEO with strong hands-on technical depth
• Proven experience owning SEO programs at a brand, agency, or consultancy
• Deep command of technical SEO: crawling, indexing, site architecture, schema, and backlink strategy
• Strong familiarity with AI search, LLM visibility, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
• Excellent client-facing communication skills for explaining complex concepts to various stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to diagnose issues
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment
• Must be based in NYC and available to work in-office 3x/week in Flatiron

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with enterprise brands or agency partners
• Experience shaping product roadmaps or feature prioritization
• Background combining technical SEO depth with consultative skills
• Existing thought leadership in SEO, GEO, or AI search
