AI Solutions Engineer - Accounting

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI-powered automations to improve operational efficiency across Finance functions, including month-end close, SEC reporting, and tax
• Turn complex accounting and finance problems into clear system designs, experiments, and implementation plans
• Automate workflows such as journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis using SQL, Python, and agentic AI
• Maintain clean, auditable data throughout automated workflows with dashboards and controls that support compliance needs
• Partner with internal SOX teams and external auditors to ensure automated processes meet regulatory standards
• Build AI literacy across the Finance team through documentation, runbooks, and hands-on training

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building automation, operational workflows, or data systems
• Proficiency in SQL or Python
• Familiarity with LLM deployment and context engineering
• Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle (training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring)
• Strong systems thinking and design skills to map messy business processes into durable architecture
• Ability to communicate technical problems clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Accounting or Finance domains
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments
