AI Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI models and algorithms using Microsoft Azure technologies to optimize business processes.
• Build and tune production-grade RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, semantic chunking, and vector indexing.
• Collaborate on the development of semi-autonomous workflows and Agentic AI systems.
• Integrate advanced Azure AI services with enterprise Angular front-ends and Java/Spring Boot back-ends.
• Perform full-stack analysis, design, development, and testing to solve complex business requirements.
• Manage foundation model endpoints and orchestrate LLM workflows within the Azure ecosystem.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry or Azure AI Studio.
• Proficiency in full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL database design.
• Practical understanding of RAG and Agentic AI patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for LLM application connections.
• Experience with cloud data tools such as Databricks.
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation practices, including grounding and latency metrics.
• Experience with vector stores like Azure AI Search or pgvector.
