AI Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Own the AI strategy and roadmap for the Genomics business line
• Establish and scale AI-assisted software engineering (ADLC) practices
• Architect and prototype AI solutions including GenAI, agentic AI, and RAG
• Define AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible-AI standards
• Drive adoption of AI-powered automation across the software delivery lifecycle
• Partner with development leaders and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end capabilities
• Present roadmaps and value-realization metrics to senior leadership

Requirements

• 12–16 years of experience in software/data engineering or architecture
• 3+ years leading AI, ML, or data-science initiatives
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions to production
• Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted development
• Strong solution-architecture skills on cloud-native platforms
• Hands-on experience with AI platforms like GPT, Claude, Gemini, or GitHub Copilot
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of knowledge graphs and vector databases at scale
• Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, and AI cost-optimization (FinOps)
• Exposure to regulated or life-sciences environments (GxP, LIMS)
