AI Search & SEO Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and own Vagaro's strategy across answer engine optimization (AEO), generative engine optimization (GEO), and AI overview optimization (AIO)
• Optimize content to be cited and recommended by AI-powered search surfaces like Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude
• Manage technical foundations for AI search visibility, including structured data and crawler access policies
• Own end-to-end SEO strategy for vagaro.com across B2B and B2C surfaces
• Lead technical SEO including crawlability, core web vitals, and site architecture
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis within beauty, fitness, and wellness verticals
• Collaborate with product, brand, and engineering teams to translate technical priorities into product tickets

Requirements

• 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally in SaaS, marketplace, or high-growth tech
• Proven track record of driving measurable organic growth
• Hands-on experience with AI search optimization (AEO, GEO, or AIO)
• Strong technical SEO fundamentals: crawl analysis, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
• Strong cross-functional communication skills

• Experience in the beauty, wellness, or fitness industry
• High AI-fluency using LLMs and AI-powered SEO platforms in daily workflows
