About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate agentic AI systems that coordinate multi-step clinical, research, and operational workflows
- Identify opportunities to deploy and integrate foundation models and decision-support tools into clinical environments
- Develop AI-enabled research analytics and workflow tools to support cohort discovery and data extraction
- Collaborate with clinical and research teams to integrate AI tools into secure, scalable, and sustainable workflows
- Evaluate AI tools in real-world settings for technical performance, fairness, safety, and usability
- Contribute to scholarly activity through publications and collaborative research initiatives
Requirements
- PhD in AI, ML, computer science, biomedical informatics, engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in the development, adaptation, or evaluation of advanced AI methods
- Experience translating technical innovation into applied tools or workflows in healthcare or biomedical research
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in interdisciplinary environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical AI, digital health, or cardiovascular data science
- Experience with human-in-the-loop or agentic AI systems and large language models
- Experience in research workflow automation or AI-enabled analytics
- Knowledge of responsible AI principles, including fairness, transparency, and governance
