AI Research Engineer – Multiphysics E-Machine Simulation

Responsibilities

• Map simulation workflows and synthesize data by analyzing magnetic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) chains and preprocessing datasets.
• Develop hybrid models, including Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINN) and Graph Neural Networks (GNN), to create high-speed surrogate models.
• Architect autonomous AI Agents using frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen to trigger simulations and optimize multi-physics KPIs.
• Validate AI predictions against high-fidelity FEA solvers to evaluate the trade-off between computational speed and accuracy.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master 2 (M2) in Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, or Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in Python and core libraries including NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong mathematical foundations in Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), optimization theory, and linear algebra.
• Fundamental knowledge of electromagnetism or Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Reinforcement Learning or Bayesian Optimization.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as Ansys Maxwell, JMAG, or Altair Flux.
• Rigorous analytical mindset and curiosity for multidisciplinary technical challenges.
