AI Research Engineer

About the Company

Amperos is healthcare's first AI-native denial management and revenue recovery platform. Our agentic AI works claims end-to-end, from portal follow-ups and payor calls to appeals and medical records, so providers can resolve more denials, recover more revenue, and focus on what matters most: serving patients.

Responsibilities

• Improve models, LLM orchestration, prompt optimizations, evaluation frameworks, and AI infra
• Enable agent/workflow product engineers
• Own and raise the bar on AI quality
• Own the ultimate vision of end-to-end AI orchestration of modules
• Work on advanced research problems, including anti-AI detection and human-like agent behavior
• Perform a mix of ML, data science, and applied LLM work using Python

Requirements

• Deep experience in implementing and building AI agents
• Very high Python mastery
• Experience working with complex distributed systems and async operations
• Ability to balance quick experimentation with systematic evaluation
• Interest in reading and implementing the latest LLM research papers
• Eagerness to test latest releases like o1, OpenAI voice mode, and Claude Computer-Use
