AI Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engage in requirements and project meetings to understand goals and deliverables
• Review and analyze project requirements to pinpoint gaps for test case creation
• Design and maintain automated tests using Java or Python for omnichannel solutions
• Employ automated testing tools for RESTful services and marketplace integrations
• Identify marketplace-specific use cases and perform manual or automated testing
• Develop automated acceptance and unit tests within an agile environment
• Utilize Jenkins and CI tools for automation of development, build, and deployment workflows
• Collaborate with product owners in a Scrum team to clarify requirements
• Examine test results and provide detailed technical feedback to developers
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues through coordinated testing
• Create QA documentation including test plans, scripts, and traceability matrices

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software quality testing
• 2+ years of Agile experience
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and MySQL query writing
• Practical exposure to RESTful automation tools
• Proficiency with JSON and XML message formats
• Familiarity with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence) and GitHub
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC and modern testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 2+ years of Python experience
• Experience with integration platforms
