About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify practical AI use cases for drilling and completion software
- Design, test, and improve prompts using ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools
- Support the integration of AI features into engineering web applications
- Work with product, engineering, and domain teams to validate AI outputs
- Help define best practices for AI-assisted workflows and responsible AI usage
Requirements
- Practical experience with modern LLM and GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
- Strong prompt engineering skills
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangSmith, or similar frameworks
- Proficiency in Python for backend development
- Understanding of how AI/LLM capabilities integrate into web applications
- Ability to design AI-assisted workflows and response validation approaches
- English language proficiency at a B2 level or higher
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with drilling, completion, oil & gas, or other engineering software
- Experience building AI assistants, copilots, or workflow automation tools
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, or React
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor
- Experience working with technical documentation or domain-specific knowledge bases
