About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and own the AI product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI and GenAI use cases across various business domains.
- Translate complex business problems into clear product requirements, AI hypotheses, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Architects on model selection, data readiness, and deployment strategies.
- Drive product execution from initial ideation and POC through to production launch and continuous improvement.
- Ensure data quality, model performance, scalability, and lifecycle management through MLOps.
- Establish and follow responsible AI practices, including fairness, explainability, privacy, and risk management.
- Track and communicate product KPIs such as business impact, adoption, and operational efficiency to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 10–20 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML products.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts including supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and GenAI.
- Experience working with data pipelines, feature engineering, model deployment, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and the AI product lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based AI platforms.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and lead cross-functional, global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments such as energy, finance, or healthcare.
- Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, and risk management practices.
- MBA or an advanced degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Proven track record of scaling AI products from pilot stages to enterprise-wide adoption.
