AI Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Use AI to create new player experiences and design AI-powered gameplay features
• Build and ship mobile game features in Unity (C#) for iOS and Android
• Prototype and launch new game ideas quickly from concept to playable builds
• Design and implement AI systems and pipelines including RAG, embeddings, and agents
• Optimize AI systems for cost, latency, and scalability
• Develop and maintain backend systems for live games using GCP/Firebase
• Collaborate with designers and analysts to turn player data into gameplay improvements
• Own the full lifecycle of features from implementation to performance optimization

Requirements

• 3+ years of production software engineering experience
• Experience with Unity (C#) for iOS and Android mobile apps or games
• Experience integrating LLMs into production systems (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source)
• Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and clean code practices
• Experience with Python or JavaScript and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to analyze player data and metrics to drive product decisions
• Experience shipping or prototyping model-driven functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with procedural content generation or LLM-driven gameplay systems
• Experience designing AI pipelines such as RAG, embeddings, and tool use
• Experience fine-tuning open-source models
• Experience optimizing Unity mobile performance and memory profiling
• Experience shipping multiple mobile game titles
