AI Platform Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable design patterns and develop AI platform solutions to solve real-world business problems
• Partner with technologists across the business to collaboratively solve complex issues
• Lead the excellence of Data/AI engineering practices through mentorship and technical leadership
• Design and execute architecture for sophisticated data products, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and stable
• Implement professional software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, and testing
• Utilize infrastructure knowledge in AWS and Kubernetes to support data products and AI/ML applications

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of experience with a Master's degree
• Proven expertise in data modeling, schema design patterns, and modern data access patterns (API, streaming, data lake)
• Proficiency in platform development using Java, Python, and SQL
• Strong experience with AWS and various cloud technologies
• Foundational knowledge of LLM, RAG, Agentic workflows, guardrails, and observability
• Experience with SageMaker, feature stores, or similar machine learning tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data-related fields such as BI, Reporting, Analytics, or Machine Learning
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments
