About the role

Responsibilities

  • Leverage modern AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to improve software delivery processes
  • Apply AI-native engineering practices, including context management, spec-driven development, and reusable skills-based workflows
  • Design, develop, and maintain autonomous agents supporting Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities
  • Integrate agents with platforms such as Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD systems through Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code and agent outputs to ensure correctness, security, and maintainability
  • Perform context engineering by organizing project knowledge and documentation to optimize AI agent effectiveness
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies to contribute to the organization's technology radar
  • Train and support engineering teams in adopting AI-native development workflows

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development using Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
  • Proven experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic
  • Hands-on experience with agent frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or PydanticAI
  • Experience working with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and vector databases
  • Experience structuring codebases and documentation for AI agent consumption (markdown descriptors, tool-call schemas, etc.)
  • Ability to manage LLM-related costs through model selection, caching, and token budgeting
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and development practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full-stack development experience
  • Experience building internal engineering tools and developer platforms
  • Experience introducing AI-native practices into established software development teams
  • Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD platforms
