AI Mission Engineer Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements end-to-end by embedding with customer teams to translate business challenges into deployable AI solutions
• Establish and scale the agentic AI delivery practice by defining architectures, reusable components, and delivery patterns
• Build and lead a high-performing team of mission engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and oversight
• Drive rapid prototyping and production deployment of AI solutions integrated with enterprise systems
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring responsible, secure, and effective AI adoption in regulated environments
• Influence product and platform roadmaps through insights gathered from direct client engagements

Requirements

• 3+ years in forward-deployed, embedded, or similar client-facing technical delivery roles
• Demonstrable track record of shipping production AI/ML systems, including agentic workflows, RAG, and orchestration
• Strong full-stack proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with backend services, data pipelines, and lightweight UIs (e.g., Next.js, React)
• Deep experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft O365, or Palantir Foundry
• Proven ability to lead senior technical teams and operate autonomously in high-stakes, ambiguous environments
• Experience evaluating AI system performance through building evals and interpreting production results

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services, telco, government, or healthcare
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
• Knowledge of workflow and automation platforms such as n8n, Foundry, or Power Automate
• Background in product telemetry, usage analytics, or feedback-driven iteration
