AI Logistics Process Optimization Intern

Responsibilities

• Design algorithms for space utilization models to optimize warehouse and rack usage
• Create intelligent suggestions for dynamic receiving and put-away processes
• Identify logistics bottlenecks through predictive process mapping and propose automation solutions
• Utilize machine learning for route optimization and efficient delivery path prediction
• Develop and deploy AI-powered chatbots for internal ERP guideline queries
• Build predictive models for demand forecasting and seasonal volume spikes
• Implement OCR and NLP for automated document processing of shipping manifests and invoices
• Develop sustainability analytics tools to minimize the carbon footprint of logistics routes

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• C1 English proficiency or equivalent
• Proficiency in programming languages
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and APIs
• Knowledge of Google Workspace
• Strong interest in applying technical skills to the transport and supply chain sector
• Ability to transform complex data into actionable operational tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of German or French languages
