About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy full-stack software solutions, owning features end-to-end from system design to lifecycle support.
  • Build and implement Custom AI Agents to support workflows such as task automation, decision support, and multi-step reasoning.
  • Integrate systems using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable structured context sharing between models, tools, and agents.
  • Integrate applications with internal and external AI services (LLMs, embeddings, RAG) via well-designed APIs.
  • Harden AI components for critical manufacturing systems, ensuring reliability, resiliency, security, and observability.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development workflows, including code generation, refactoring, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, production-grade software solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in full-stack software engineering, including object-oriented design and clean code practices.
  • Proven experience operating production-grade backend or full-stack systems and designing scalable architectures.
  • Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Hands-on experience designing Custom AI agents and implementing RAG-based systems.
  • Expertise in AI-native skills such as Prompt Engineering, context window management, and chain-of-thought design.
  • Ability to reason about AI-specific challenges including hallucination risks, failure modes, and guardrails.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying AI-enabled development practices to accelerate engineering productivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs for production use.
  • Experience building interoperable AI systems without hard-coded integrations.
  • Experience operationalizing AI in high-reliability, high-performance critical environments.
