AI Engineer/Forward-Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled applications, including copilots, agents, extraction pipelines, and decision-support tools.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into deployed AI-enabled workflows by working directly with business teams and stakeholders.
• Build and tune LLM workflows using prompt strategies, tool-calling patterns, and agent orchestration.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, data platforms, and observability tools.
• Ensure production-grade reliability, scalability, and cost control for all AI solutions.
• Create evaluation datasets and validation tools to measure accuracy and mitigate hallucination risks.
• Define solution architecture and engineering standards for AI-enabled platforms.
• Embed security, privacy, and responsible AI controls into the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in software engineering, technical leadership, or solutions architecture within enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to deliver production applications using APIs, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled systems such as LLM pipelines, RAG, or agentic workflows.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and security experts.
• Strong background in modern full-stack technologies (e.g., .NET, Azure, SQL, React/Angular).
• Track record of mentoring engineers and establishing technical engineering standards.
