AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and leadership to translate ambiguous business needs into well-defined technical deliverables
• Evaluate and integrate AI capabilities, including LLMs and agents, to drive measurable productivity improvements
• Architect and build internal tools, agents, and automated workflows to accelerate technical discovery and solution design
• Harden high-potential workflows into scalable, maintainable, production-grade solutions
• Build custom demo environments, PoC applications, and technical assets for strategic customer engagements
• Identify recurring friction points in workflows and proactively build automated solutions to address them

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an engineer shipping production systems
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including debugging and reasoning about data flows
• Experience building and deploying AI agents, LLM-powered tools, or workflow automation
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Ruby, Node.js, Python, or Next.js
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) including deployment and monitoring
• Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or workflow automation
• Ability to work across multiple codebases and technology stacks simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing systems that non-engineers can extend, such as low-code frameworks or template systems
• Background in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or GTM Engineering roles
• Familiarity with Stripe's products, APIs, or the fintech domain
• Experience integrating with third-party platforms like Salesforce or Gong
• Track record of building tools that achieve wide adoption across an organization
