AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prototype, iterate, and productionize domain-aligned agent modules including plans, tool-use, and task execution flows.
• Build and maintain versioned agent assets such as prompts, policies, tool schemas, and configurations.
• Implement AI system testing harnesses, including regression suites, golden test sets, and comparison reports.
• Develop and extend MCP clients and connectors for internal data products and enterprise applications.
• Optimize agent performance for latency and token efficiency across cloud and edge environments.
• Ensure operational readiness through logging, telemetry coverage, and alignment with SLI/SLO standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional Python engineering experience with strong production hygiene (testing, packaging, logging).
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications, specifically focusing on agents, tool-use, and prompting.
• Proficiency with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain.
• Experience with integration engineering, including APIs, authentication concepts, and schema-based tool integration.
• Understanding of evaluation disciplines, including regression testing and offline evaluation metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CrewAI-style orchestration patterns.
• Familiarity with MCP-style interface implementation.
• Knowledge of observability patterns such as correlation IDs and latency instrumentation.
• Experience deploying and validating agents via cloud platform pipelines.
