AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered data platforms, pipelines, and data products.
• Develop scalable backend systems and robust data workflows using Python and Snowflake.
• Ingest, cleanse, and transform large-scale datasets for AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases.
• Create and optimize feature engineering frameworks, embeddings, and semantic data models.
• Deploy, integrate, and monitor AI/ML models in production environments using MLOps and LLMOps best practices.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend services to expose AI capabilities.
• Optimize Snowflake architecture for performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop data pipelines for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in AI Engineering, Data Engineering, or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Strong hands-on programming expertise in Python for production-grade applications.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing solutions within Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of data modeling and architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud-native environments.
• Solid understanding of machine learning lifecycle management and feature engineering.
• Experience building APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, vector databases, and AI agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps methodologies and tools.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Knowledge of Generative AI frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience working in high-growth or rapidly evolving technology environments.
