AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic AI solutions from concept to production, including agent role definition, autonomy boundaries, and guardrails.
• Implement agent loops, tool-use patterns, context engineering, retrieval/RAG flows, and telemetry.
• Select and justify models based on latency, cost, reliability, and use-case fit.
• Develop reusable orchestration patterns, prompt templates, and evaluation assets for team-wide adoption.
• Partner with governance and platform teams to ensure agents are secure against prompt injection and PII leakage.
• Move solutions through sandbox, staging, and production paths, ensuring they are observable, versioned, and auditable.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background in Python and/or C# with experience building production-grade APIs or cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or LangGraph.
• Practical experience with RAG, vector search, prompt engineering, and tool calling.
• Ability to build and maintain evaluation sets, regression tests, and acceptance criteria for agent behavior.
• Understanding of cloud-native delivery, observability, CI/CD, and secure software development practices.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical trade-offs to business and governance stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Azure AI stack (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Cosmos DB, Container Apps).
• Experience with bilingual (Arabic/English) AI products or multi-modal AI (vision, voice, document intelligence).
• Prior work in government, regulated, or sovereign cloud environments.
• Technical leadership or player-coach experience.
