AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-value AI and automation opportunities
• Design, develop, and support AI systems from initial scoping to production deployment
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure including frontend interfaces and backend services
• Create data pipelines and AI model context protocols using tools like MCP, LangChain, and vector databases
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of AI platform services
• Author SDKs, APIs, and developer documentation to support platform growth
• Translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Science
• Proven experience deploying AI or LLM-powered systems into production
• Proficiency in the generative AI stack (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing
• Experience with automation tools like Zapier, Gumloop, or n8n
• Ability to work full-time W2 on core U.S. business hours
• Must be located in the United States and legally eligible to work without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, or Node.js
• Experience managing data with Postgres or Redis
• Strong grounding in statistics, probability, and experimental design
