AI Enablement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automations and integrations connecting company applications, data, and AI services.
• Integrate systems through APIs and webhooks, managing authentication, rate limits, and idempotency.
• Build AI-powered capabilities using LLMs, including structured outputs, RAG, and tool/function-calling.
• Develop and maintain MCP servers and reusable AI skills and agents to provide governed access to internal systems.
• Instrument all builds with logging, monitoring, evaluations, and guardrails to ensure reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, scope, and deliver high-value automation and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with Security and Data teams to ensure responsible and compliant handling of data and AI usage.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building integrations, automations, or software in a professional environment.
• Production experience working with LLMs or AI agents.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation.
• Strong API fluency (REST, JSON, OAuth, webhooks).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Practical experience with RAG, tool-calling, or agentic workflows.
• A production mindset focused on error handling, observability, and secure data handling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying MCP servers or custom AI skills.
• Familiarity with the modern AI stack, including orchestration frameworks and vector databases.
• Experience integrating common business systems (HRIS, ITSM, CRM, or finance suites).
• A portfolio of shipped, production-quality automations or agents.
• Experience setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, or making build-vs-buy decisions.
