About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines to collect customer data from various sources into the Customer Data Platform.
- Create and design data models, schemas, and database structures within Snowflake.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Customer Data Platforms, focusing on unified customer profiles, identity graphs, and data enrichment.
- Collaborate with marketers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data requirements.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to provide insights into customer behavior and preferences.
- Manage and monitor data workflows, ensuring smooth launches of new segmentation and profile capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business, Technology, or an equivalent field.
- 4-6 years of Data Engineering experience, specifically with large-scale data transformation projects.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS Cloud, DBT, and Real-time APIs.
- Experience working within Agile development practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and Identity Resolution.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and Generative AI applications.
- Experience with marketing data sources such as Salesforce (CRM) or Eloqua (Marketing Automation).
- Expertise in using Presto for querying data across multiple sources.
