AI Data Engineer Internship

About the Company

LG AI Research is developing an AI work assistant where members can request tasks in natural language, and AI agents generate actual results using internal tools and knowledge systems. This project focuses on developing LLM-based agent applications that use tools, manage task states, and operate in safely isolated execution environments.

Responsibilities

• Improve and test AI agent workflow functions for business use
• Assist in developing integration functions for internal tools and external systems
• Verify and improve quality of LLM tool calling, agent skills, and prompts
• Analyze and improve agent execution logs, failure cases, and evaluation results
• Improve development productivity through monitoring screens, documentation, and operation automation
• Assist in understanding and operating container/cloud-based agent execution environments

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate student (or graduate) in Computer Science, Software, or AI-related majors
• Ability to develop simple applications using Python or TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with collaborative development using Git
• Familiarity with REST API, JSON, CLI, and Linux basics
• Experience using LLM-based development tools or ability to learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLM API, AI agents, tool calling, RAG, or workflow automation
• Experience with projects involving integration of business tools, data systems, or internal APIs
• Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments
• Experience in writing test code, log analysis, failure reproduction, and debugging
• Experience collecting feedback from internal members to improve services
