AI Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures for AI/ML workloads
• Define data strategy, governance, and frameworks for structured, semi/unstructured data
• Architect scalable pipelines, warehouses, and lakehouses optimized for AI/ML
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and business teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Ensure data security, compliance, lineage, and metadata management
• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Guide teams on best practices for AI/ML data lifecycle integration
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies in the Data & AI ecosystem

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Architect with an AI/ML focus
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with lakehouse platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lake, BigQuery, or Synapse
• Proficiency in data pipeline frameworks including Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or DBT
• Strong knowledge of ML data lifecycle including feature engineering, versioning, pipelines, and MLOps
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Proficiency in SQL and Python with distributed data systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AI/ML platforms such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
