About the role

Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead PhonePe's transformation into an AI-native marketing organization
  • Define the annual AI adoption roadmap and build business cases for integration
  • Hire and develop a specialized team of AI specialists and prompt engineers
  • Manage the marketing AI stack, including language models, image generators, and automation tools
  • Design scalable workflows and central playbooks using tools like N8N, Zapier, or Make
  • Drive cross-functional enablement through structured training programs for 100+ marketers
  • Implement quality control processes and brand safety checks for AI-generated content
  • Measure and report on AI impact regarding creative speed, quality, and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of marketing experience (Performance, Brand, or Growth)
  • 2-3 years of experience leading teams of 5 or more people
  • Mastery of Generative AI tools including GPT, Claude, Midjourney, and Runway
  • Proven experience building and deploying scalable AI-driven automation workflows
  • Strong change management skills with experience driving culture shifts in large organizations
  • Ability to communicate strategic AI initiatives to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech or high-growth consumer tech industries
  • Background in building platforms or frameworks from scratch
  • Public speaking experience or published thought leadership regarding AI in marketing
