AI Companion Team Intern

Responsibilities

• Design innovative gameplay experiences using LLM, SLM, VLM, and Human-AI Interaction technologies
• Optimize computational efficiency of language and multimodal models for real-time interaction and large-scale concurrent users
• Collaborate with game designers and engineers to integrate AI Companion into actual game projects
• Build feedback loops through user data and game log analysis to continuously improve models

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Project experience with at least one of LLM, SLM, or VLM
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
• Eligible for overseas business travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Outstanding research achievements such as first-author publications or awards at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, NAACL, etc.)
• Experience serving language models using vLLM, llama-cpp, or SGLang
• Experience with frameworks such as Llama Index or LangGraph
• Multimodal training and inference experience
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with other disciplines (game design, art, business, etc.)
