About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end client relationships, working directly with client engineers, PMs, and engineering managers.
  • Perform technical root-cause analysis on issues such as latency spikes, ASR misfires, and call-transfer failures.
  • Translate business requirements into precise, testable LLM prompts across various ASR/LLM/TTS combinations.
  • Build and maintain usage, cost, and quality dashboards for client accounts using SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Drive product improvements by identifying recurring manual fixes and collaborating with engineering to productize them.
  • Analyze call transcripts and logs to form and defend technical hypotheses regarding system failures.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to perform technical root-cause analysis and diagnose complex issues independently.
  • Proficiency with APIs and webhooks, including the ability to read payloads and trace pipeline failures.
  • Experience with LLM prompt engineering and iterative testing.
  • SQL literacy for data querying and experience with data visualization/reporting.
  • Strong written communication skills for technical documentation, client updates, and prompt specifications.
  • High agency and a proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to Voice AI, contact centers, or telephony infrastructure (SIP, IVR, DLT).
  • Experience with BigQuery, Metabase, or similar data tools.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM evaluation frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate technical root causes clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
