AI BIM/CAD Modeler

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a catalog of BIM and CAD models spanning buildings, furniture, and interior layouts
• Keep system models in sync with physical reality by coordinating with architects, property managers, and onboarding teams
• Curate models for ML pipelines, ensuring data is clean, structured, and correctly attributed
• Design and build agentic systems, agent skills, and software workflows to automate modeling work
• Develop standards and observability tools to allow model quality to be verified programmatically
• Own the R&D roadmap for modeling efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and experimenting with new methods
• Train team members on agentic BIM/CAD workflows and document standards

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in architecture or product design
• Academic background in architecture, mechanical engineering, or product design
• Proficiency in at least one of Revit, Rhino, or Onshape
• Hands-on experience using AI agents to manipulate or generate CAD/BIM models
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, TypeScript, or RhinoScript
• Familiarity with PLM, document management, and revision control processes
• Strong communication skills to work across architecture, engineering, and operations teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data pipelines or ML data preparation workflows
• Software development experience
• Prior experience working in a lean or early-stage environment
