AI Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement AI solution stacks, including model serving, orchestration, retrieval pipelines, and vector stores
• Lead rapid proof-of-value (PoV) sprints to deliver working prototypes and recommendations to stakeholders
• Plan and execute cloud-to-on-prem and hybrid migration patterns for AI workloads onto Dell infrastructure
• Collaborate with AI Data Specialists and Enterprise Architects to align technical scope with business outcomes
• Provide documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to customer engineering teams to ensure long-term solution stability
• Contribute to Dell AI Factory reference architectures and mentor team members on responsible AI practices

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, AI/ML platforms, or systems engineering
• Hands-on experience with model serving, orchestration, retrieval pipelines, and vector stores
• Proven experience delivering and operating production AI or large-scale distributed systems in enterprise environments
• Strong foundation in modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevOps/SRE, and infrastructure-as-code
• Ability to travel to customer sites and Dell locations as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience deploying AI solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
• Familiarity with AI security, privacy, governance, and modern cloud/data/ML tooling (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with GenAI or RAG-style solutions
