AI Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with sales and customers to design solutions around the Standard Bots RO1 for AI enabled applications
• Install, program, and verify Standard Bots AI solutions in the field
• Support customers in finding innovative ways to use RO1 AI functionality
• Develop proof of concept systems at the AI lab in Glen Cove, NY
• Develop supporting materials including sample code, white papers, and application notes
• Assist in-house engineering with the design and testing of AI functionality
• Develop marketing collateral to assist with growing the customer base

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in complex environments or relevant educational experience in automation
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience with basic electrical concepts (DC power, NPN vs PNP)
• Ability to navigate Solidworks
• Ability to work in the Glen Cove, NY office 4-5 days per week
• Willingness to travel up to 40%

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or strong interest in robotics
• Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
