AI Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop AI applications using Python, Java, and/or Node.js.
• Implement conversational agents and agentic architectures following established guidelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, data lakes).
• Implement and operate RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, including embedding management and vector database integration.
• Integrate AI applications with internal and external systems via APIs, SDKs, and REST services.
• Support the technical integration of various LLM providers and participate in model training and validation tasks.
• Document technical processes, data pipelines, and software developments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and Java programming (indispensable).
• Practical experience in data processing and ETL workflows.
• Solid knowledge of RAG implementation and managing vector databases.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Git/GitLab version control.
• Intermediate to advanced English language skills.
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in AI application development, data engineering, or software development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js.
• Familiarity with ETL tools like Airflow, n8n, Dataflow, or Glue.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with BigQuery or other data warehouses.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
