Physical Intelligence is bringing general-purpose AI into the physical world. We are a group of engineers, scientists, roboticists, and company builders developing foundation models and learning algorithms to power the robots of today and the physically-actuated devices of the future.
Responsibilities
- Own full lifecycle recruiting for technical roles, from building talent heatmaps to closing candidates with autonomy
- Proactively identify and engage top-tier talent across ML research, robotics, systems, and infrastructure
- Design structured interview processes and drive interviewer calibration
- Provide informed guidance on compensation and competitive positioning
- Partner with founders and hiring managers to align on tradeoffs, scope, and urgency
- Design bespoke closing strategies and communicate the company story with conviction
- Act as a brand ambassador, treating every candidate with care and respect
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience recruiting top-tier talent
- Sophisticated and creative sourcing approaches
- Intellectual horsepower and analytical rigor
- Data-driven mindset with ability to make evidence-based arguments
- Resilience and a high sense of urgency
- Genuine interest and curiosity about robotics and AI
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting ML, robotics, AI, or hardware talent
- Executive recruiting experience
- Prior experience as a first recruiter or Head of Talent
- Familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools and automation workflows
