AI and Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable platform and data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Develop and iterate on AI/ML components including LLM-based agents and embedding models
• Architect and maintain data infrastructure such as feature stores, vector databases, and data lakes
• Collaborate with researchers to translate behavioral frameworks into system components
• Write production-quality code and participate in code reviews
• Monitor model and pipeline performance in production
• Contribute to system design discussions and the technical roadmap

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Spark, dbt, Airflow, or Prefect
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI
• Solid understanding of data modeling and schema design
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with APIs, microservices, or event-driven architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake
• Background in NLP, computational social science, or user modeling
• Experience with behavioral modeling or agent-based systems
• Familiarity with synthetic data generation or privacy-preserving ML
• Contributions to open-source AI or data tooling
