About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI applications using machine learning (ML), Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), and Large Language Models (LLM).
- Develop, test, and monitor Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots using Microsoft Power Automate and UiPath.
- Optimize and troubleshoot intelligent automations to enhance performance and functionality.
- Manage Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Palantir Foundry environments.
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis through user groups, interviews, and regulatory research.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodology and advanced project management techniques.
- Act as a liaison between systems development, computer operations, and accounting groups.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IT (relevant experience may substitute for degree).
- 5+ years of IT professional experience as an analyst, programmer, or business/process analyst.
- Experience with the analysis of automated financial management systems.
- Experience architecting and developing workflow-based solutions.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (with ability to upgrade to Top Secret if required).
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in Charleston, SC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Department of State financial systems and accounting practices.
- Proficiency with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and AI Applications.
- Expertise in designing and deploying RPA bots using Power Automate and UiPath.
- Subject matter expertise in accounting and financial management policies and operations.
- Experience in process mapping, root cause analysis, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
