About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI applications using machine learning (ML), Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), and Large Language Models (LLM).
  • Develop, test, and monitor Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots using Microsoft Power Automate and UiPath.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot intelligent automations to enhance performance and functionality.
  • Manage Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Palantir Foundry environments.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and analysis through user groups, interviews, and regulatory research.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodology and advanced project management techniques.
  • Act as a liaison between systems development, computer operations, and accounting groups.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IT (relevant experience may substitute for degree).
  • 5+ years of IT professional experience as an analyst, programmer, or business/process analyst.
  • Experience with the analysis of automated financial management systems.
  • Experience architecting and developing workflow-based solutions.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (with ability to upgrade to Top Secret if required).
  • Must be able to work full-time on-site in Charleston, SC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Department of State financial systems and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and AI Applications.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying RPA bots using Power Automate and UiPath.
  • Subject matter expertise in accounting and financial management policies and operations.
  • Experience in process mapping, root cause analysis, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
