AI Agent Operations Specialist

About the Company

Delfa is building autonomous AI agents to automate clinical trials and fix the bottlenecks in patient recruitment. The company has already deployed onto 300+ trials and is growing rapidly to transform how medications reach patients.

Responsibilities

• Use AI workflows to extract and refine inclusion/exclusion criteria from clinical study protocols
• Convert clinical eligibility criteria into patient-friendly screening questions for voice and SMS agents
• Create and review voice agent reports covering screening logic, conversation flow, and escalation rules
• Support script creation for IRB/ethics submissions
• Assist with AI agent management, including manual patches and configuration updates
• Sample patient interactions to identify issues and inform automated QA
• Support pre-release testing of AI agents
• Design new AI agents end-to-end under senior review

Requirements

• High attention to detail with ability to review dense clinical or operational documents
• Comfort using AI tools, prompts, and structured workflows
• Clinical or scientific literacy (experience in healthcare, life sciences, medicine, or biomedical sciences)
• Strong communication skills to explain complex logic in simple language
• Ownership mindset and ability to move quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in clinical trials, patient recruitment, or site operations
• Familiarity with study protocols or prescreening workflows
• Experience in QA, call review, or process improvement
• Comfort with spreadsheets and configuration tools
