Agriculture Broker

Responsibilities

• Promote FIS and provide market intelligence and analysis to clients
• Arrange trades via voice broking on behalf of clients for execution at relevant exchanges
• Create liquidity and price discovery with exchanges, liquidity providers, and traders
• Maintain and enhance existing client relationships through regular contact and tracking of trading activities
• Identify and seize new business opportunities related to market trends and products
• Produce daily and weekly updates on market prices and direction for international desks
• On-board new clients following strict Compliance and Operations procedures
• Adhere to all regulatory, exchange, and clearing house requirements and internal risk policies

Requirements

• Degree in Agriculture, Economics, or a related field
• Fluency in Portuguese is essential
• Knowledge of agricultural products, markets, and derivatives
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Must possess Series 3 NFA credentials or be willing to take the test
