Agricultural Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
• Perform field preparation including soil tilling, digging, and planting seeds or transplants
• Execute crop maintenance tasks such as weeding, thinning, and applying pesticides or fertilizers
• Handle harvesting duties including picking, cutting, grading, and field packing products
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards following USDA GAP certification
• Perform packing tasks such as boxing, weighing, and loading produce

Requirements

• Ability to perform strenuous manual and mechanized agricultural labor
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and lift products up to 5 feet high
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions ranging from 10°F to 105°F
• Capability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk extensively for long periods
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain an insurable driver's license for vehicle operation
• Ability to follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols
