Agricultural Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, construction, and diesel equipment
• Maintain and repair corn headers, combine headers, and various other agricultural implements
• Conduct service calls at customer sites and perform inspections on dealer-owned equipment
• Complete service paperwork, including inspection reports and work orders, using computers or tablets
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of company vehicles, inventory, and tools
• Follow all company safety policies and use required personal safety equipment
• Collaborate with technicians, parts, and sales personnel to ensure high-quality service

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle for service calls
• Possession of a mechanic toolset appropriate for the required work
• Ability to travel for training events and customer service calls
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, based on agricultural seasonality
