About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage community members, caregivers, and service providers via calls and emails to provide information on resources for older adults
- Document and track community inquiries in the Correspondence Tracking System (CTS)
- Represent NYC Aging at community events, resource fairs, and tabling events
- Deliver presentations to external partners across the City
- Facilitate and participate in internal and external training sessions
- Prepare training materials and engage stakeholders to ensure consistent service standards
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and two years of community work experience, OR
- High school graduation and six years of community work experience, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in community-centered activities
