About the role

Responsibilities

  • Engage community members, caregivers, and service providers via calls and emails to provide information on resources for older adults
  • Document and track community inquiries in the Correspondence Tracking System (CTS)
  • Represent NYC Aging at community events, resource fairs, and tabling events
  • Deliver presentations to external partners across the City
  • Facilitate and participate in internal and external training sessions
  • Prepare training materials and engage stakeholders to ensure consistent service standards

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree and two years of community work experience, OR
  • High school graduation and six years of community work experience, OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience in community-centered activities
