Agile Coach

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and leadership on Agile principles, values, and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Assess team and organizational maturity in Agile practices and develop tailored strategies to improve collaboration and performance.
• Act as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability across departments.
• Provide training sessions and workshops to educate employees at all levels about Agile methodologies.
• Guide teams in using metrics like burndown charts and velocity to measure performance and track Agile maturity.
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Support teams in identifying and removing impediments that hinder progress or productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align business goals with Agile delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• CSM or PSM I certification is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in an Agile environment as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
• SAFe 5 Lean Portfolio Manager or SAFe 5 Practitioner certifications.
