Agentic Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build agent execution infrastructure including distributed systems for parallel agent orchestration
• Develop evaluation systems to measure agent quality and catch regressions
• Optimize agent performance through context compression, prompt optimization, and model routing
• Build ontology and provenance systems to map concepts and trace outputs to authoritative sources
• Integrate LLMs into production workflows with robust error handling and cost optimization
• Own systems end-to-end from design to deployment, including services, database optimization, and monitoring

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production software
• Deep experience in backend distributed systems
• Experience designing scalable architectures for complex workflows
• Experience building with LLMs, agent frameworks, or ML infrastructure
• Proficiency with Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability
• Strong communication skills regarding technical trade-offs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rust
• Experience with large datasets, ETL pipelines, knowledge graphs, or semantic systems
