Agentic Search Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and own the infrastructural substrate for the agentic search platform, including index engines and ingestion pipelines.
• Design and operate high-throughput ingestion and enrichment pipelines for multi-modal enterprise data (text, tables, images, audio, and video).
• Build and operate hybrid indexing technology at scale, spanning keyword-based sparse-vector indices and embedding-based semantic indices.
• Contribute to a knowledge graph that resolves entities across disparate enterprise data sources.
• Improve search performance, scalability, and observability, including query latency and indexing throughput.
• Drive platform reliability through index lifecycle policies, capacity planning, and cluster scaling strategies.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering background.
• 1+ years of full-time industry experience.
• Proficiency in one or more search technologies such as Lucene, Solr, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.
• Ability to work in an in-person, collaborative office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases.
