Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents
• Manage and grow a team of engineers building performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents
• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from pilot through deployment
• Partner with large enterprises and startups to translate business challenges into technical solutions
• Shape the future of the Sierra platform by surfacing unmet customer needs

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams that build and scale end-to-end production systems
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
• Leadership style blending high standards with empathy
• Proven ability to work closely with customers and translate needs into deliverables
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• AI-related experience, specifically developing AI agents
• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
• Background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, or Go
