Agent, Asset Protection

Responsibilities

• Execute asset protection initiatives and shortage reduction programs across 3-6 assigned store locations
• Partner with local store management to meet strategic asset protection objectives
• Conduct operational audits to assess store operations, pre-shrink indicators, and safety compliance
• Provide training to store personnel regarding safety communication guidelines and crisis management protocols
• Monitor controls and conduct surveillance via CCTV or floor techniques to identify and investigate theft or associate dishonesty
• Conduct investigations and interviews related to inventory loss, cash loss, and policy violations
• Support investigations related to Organized Retail Crime (ORC) in partnership with law enforcement and regional investigators

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in Asset Protection or a relevant retail setting
• Ability to work nights, evenings, and weekends based on retail business needs
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation
• Ability to fulfill all physical requirements, including standing and walking for extended periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-year college degree
• Wicklander-Zulawski training in interviewing techniques
